Five years ago, on the 21st of September 2004, an unsuspecting Japanese chap by the name of Yusuke booked 2 nights accommodation at the Novotel hotel in Queenstown. Little did he know, a small team in Dunedin, New Zealand were anxiously awaiting the moment. Completely unaware was this man that his booking had generated the first $10.80 of revenue for a fledgling internet start-up.
